Okay, Gunnut51, here's your 35000th pageview picture.
Dressing Kim and Ron as my own characters Molly Blue and Prince Rupert definitely wasn't something I'd think of doing— after all, one thing I wanted to make sure to do was not make Molly Blue a Kim Possible clone. There's lots of ways for a teenaged girl/young woman to be heroic! But looking at Kim and Ron hiking up the cinder cone toward Ellesmere Tower in clothes exactly like Molly's and Rupert's— they're not Molly and Rupert. I considered making this a halloween or cosplay choice, or even that Kim could play Molly in the "movie version" of Molly Blue, with Rufus CGI'd to play Pina Ao, and allusions to the fan controversy about a white girl playing Katara in the live action Airbender movie! Too complicated! Way too complicated! Probably better just to do a pretty picture of Kim and Ron in costume. Gunnut also wanted Molly and Rupert wearing Kim and Ron's clothes, but hey, no fair sneaking in a double picture request! I do have a number of drawings of Monique in Kim's supersuit from the "Shego's Baby" story, which is probably roughly how Molly would look in this. |
