Two years of Molly Blue

I guess you already noticed the new Molly Blue pages. I'm sorry that this installment took me twice as long as usual to get together, but sometimes I do get distracted. This is Molly's second anniversary at Deviant Art. I posted the cover and first clump of pages on November 1, 2007. A year ago I was at page 86, so I actually am speeding up.

Hobby? What hobby? I'm a 59 year old cartoonist, artist, poet and author, who hasn't been especially commercially successful, though I have been published.

But with the internet, what do I care? I can make it, you can look at it or read it, and the commercial considerations that used to get in the way are irrelevant. I can make what I want.

I remembered you had a cannon in your gallery (a couple of them, actually), and decided to have a look, and really liked the photo.

I think the Hanatoa cannon is going to be some hybrid of a "classic" cannon and a more modern big gun, but I won't know for sure till I actually draw the scene.
